Church Councils

Session


​The Session consists of ordained elders elected by the congregation to represent them as the spiritual leaders of the church and to support pastoral ministry.

Currently Serving:  James Andrews, Jennifer Andrews, Jonathan Andrews, Diane Krick, Gordon Krick, and Wayne Reynolds.

Some Duties Include: 
  • Pray for one another, the church, and the community.
  • Receive members into the church.
  • Prepare persons for baptism.
  • Assist pastor with home visits and serving of home        communion.
  • Encourage and support various missions.
  • Plan meaningful worship experiences.
  • Assist in the development and supervision of Christian Education for all ages.
  • Promote stewardship.
  • Establish the annual budget with the treasurer and            trustees.
  • Train, ordain, install, and welcome new elders.
  • Oversee all the ministries of the church.
  • Serve as representatives to Presbytery and other higher councils as elected. 



​The trustees are elected to oversee the financial aspect of the church as a corporation.

Our trustees oversee:
  • The church building and the grounds.
  • The manse.
  • The budget and monthly financial reports.
  • The church’s fun-raisers, such as Memorial Day Chicken BBQ and semi-annual Soup Suppers.
